Dr. Chetan Patel, an internationally renowned spine surgeon, has extensive training and educational background in complex minimally invasive spine surgery which includes revision work. Dr. Patel has a passion for research that is leading the way in the treatment of spinal disorders. His current research projects help provide a better understanding for developing non-surgical treatments and minimally invasive surgical solutions that can dramatically improve upon the traditional options available.

Chetan Patel, MD

Medical Director of the Spine Health Institute

Dr. Patel, an internationally renowned spine surgeon, will use his expertise as a specialist in minimally invasive back and neck surgery to lead the newly opened center. Dr. Patel has extensive training and educational background in minimally invasive spine surgery.

Kayvan Ariani, MD

Board-Certified Anesthesiologist

Dr. Ariani is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and has achieved the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Pain Management from the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is also a diplomat of the American Board of Pain Medicine and is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, International Anesthesia Research Society, International Association for the Study of Pain, International Spinal Injection Society and American Society of Regional Anesthesia.

Jennifer Chang, MD

Board-Certified Anesthesiologist

Jennifer Chang is a board-certified anesthesiologist with a subspecialty certification in pain management. She is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists.

Brian Jager, MD

Pain Management

Dr. Jager completed his fellowship at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University, where he also finished his residency. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia and then completed his internship at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem.

Charles Lammers, Ph.D.

Pain Psychology Management

Dr. Lammers received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Washington State University. He completed his internship at the Seattle Veterans Affairs Medical Center, followed by his residency at the Northwest Occupational Medicine Center in Portland, Oregon. He continued working in Portland for the next seven years, specializing in Health Psychology with an emphasis in pain management.

Leigha Klebe, RD

Registered Dietitian

Leigha received her degree in food science and human nutrition with a specialization in dietetics from the University of Florida. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), the Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group, the Florida Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (FAND), and the Orlando Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (OAND).

Holly Myers, MPT

Physical Therapist

Holly received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Queens College in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she participated in collegiate soccer all four years. She then attended Western Carolina University and obtained her Master’s in Physical Therapy.

Justin Talbott, MPT

Physical Therapist

Justin Talbott is a licensed physical therapist and certified athletic trainer. He has worked in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation at Florida Hospital for over nine years and received the 2013 Model of Excellence award for Florida Hospital.

Charlie Goodnough, PA

Licensed Physician Assistant

Charlie received his undergraduate degree from UCF and his physician assistant degree in Georgia. Charlie is an extension of our medical staff and closely assists Dr. Patel in surgery and clinical care. He is a professional athlete and personal trainer, and has worked in orthopaedics for more than 12 years.
